The River Street Inn is a beautifully maintained historic building, in a great location, with an amazing view from our riverview room. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were the "guest of the day" and were given 2 free breakfasts at the Broken Keel, which was really tasty and is located on the 2nd floor, which makes it very convenient. I would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here mid September 2026. When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff and the beautiful southern charm coming from the living room/dining room. We were shown to our room which was lovely. Everyone here was so helpful and always ready to suggest places to see and restaurants to go to. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and offered a nice variety of options. It was immaculate and very well cared for. We enjoyed getting to know the staff. Sean, Dee Dee, Chuck and Rebekah all made us feel like we were good friends or family and we felt so welcome there. We enjoyed staying here so much that on our way out to leave, we booked another stay for November and we intend to book yet another one when we get there for spring 2027. My husband and I have decided to make this our “go to” place every several months when we need a break from every day life.

This past weekend we stayed at The Godley Manor for the first time and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we were in a very special place. Beth warmly greeted us and toured us around. Every piece of furniture and artwork was perfect and we could tell that Beth and her family take great pride in The Godley Manor. Our room was terrifically spacious, very clean and every amenity provided. The towels are SO SOFT and luxurious. Miss Pam oversees breakfast which is plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed sitting at the long dining table and chatting with the other guests. Lastly, the location is perfect for walking to the river (20 min) and all around the historic district. The Godley Manor is our new favorite place to stay in Savannah and we will return. Thank you Beth, Pam and family for a fantastic stay.
